THE ROLE
As a key member of our Front-End engineering team you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and developing Medallia’s world-leading Enterprise Customer Experience Management (CEM) reporting application. Your mission is to integrate the best feedback aggregation, text analytics and HTML5/Javascript visualizations into a revolutionary, engaging and high performance platform.  Working in an agile environment, you’ll specialize in building responsive and elegant user interfaces that provide business critical insight at scale to over 100,000 users. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Product and Design teams to design and implement complex user interfaces and user-facing features for the next generation CEM product.
  • Develop new user-facing features, interactive visualizations, and customer-driven enhancements to our Core Reporting application.
  • Create fast, easy to use UI components that can be implemented quickly and seamlessly to support diverse clients.
  • Participate in a thriving Front-End Engineering community, helping shape mid/long-term technical roadmap and FE architecture patterns for the global Engineering organization.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to deliver best-practice JS, HTML5 & CSS3 code
  • Vanilla JavaScript - Casting, Closure, Prototyping, Function invocation, etc.
  • Architecting patterns like MV*, Flux or Redux
  • Advanced performance tools usage, such as Chrome Dev Tools Profiling/Timeline
  • Git
  • JS libraries/frameworks such as ReactJS & ApolloCSS pre-processing such as SASS, or Styled Components Libraries
  • Cross-browser compatibility
  • TDD and BDD
  • Preferred (but not required) to have experience with: ES6/7NodeJSGraphQLDockerCSS-in-JS techniques
