Senior Frontend Engineer


About the Role:

The Activations Team at AdRoll is seeking a Frontend Engineer to help build out our customer-facing onboarding and activation web applications. You will partner with a tight-knit team of engineers and product managers on AdRoll’s newest application that bridges multiple products and services, enabling customers to optimize their setup and give them the best chance for success.

In this role, customer empathy is key. You will work with various AdRoll engineering teams to advocate for changes where necessary with the view to make the customer experience as flawless and simple as possible.


  • Work on all levels of the web stack leaning heavily towards the front-end (JavaScript/React, Python/Flask, PostgreSQL)
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other specialists to plan, scope, build, and deploy new features
  • Help establish technical standards and methodologies where needed
  • Mentor, teach, hire and share your knowledge to make our engineering team stronger
  • Code responsibly: minimize tech debt, advocate for change as needed, test and monitor


  • 3+ years experience building production web applications in a corporate or start-up environment.
  • A proven foundation in data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals
  • Experience with (or willingness to master) our stack, in order of importance: JavaScript, React, Python, Flask, Docker, and AWS
