Where do you fit:

You will be delivering exceptional customer experiences and working on the implementation of features to accelerate the delivery of Accela’s products – both on the web and mobile. You will work as part of an engineering team developing new features and capabilities.
You will have daily exposure to a range of technical challenges and customer experiences which will stretch and develop your technical and leadership skills. You are a problem solver who has a passion for delivering high quality solutions and attention to detail. 
Impact you will make in the role:

·       Part of a team delivering Accela’s next generation GovTech platform

·       Work closely with a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and QA engineers to ensure the reliability of the platform.

·       Participate on Agile teams, with regular scrum meetings, as well as planning and grooming meetings

·       Hands on building and managing Azure cloud software environments

·       Perform reviews, unit testing, and implementing software best practices

·       Perform system analysis to ensure the proposed solution is the best-in-class without causing negative impact

Expertise you will bring in:

·       System Administration

·       Linux

·       Windows Server

·       Cloud Provider experience

·       Azure; or

·       AWS

·       SQL Server

·       System Monitoring

·       Create, edit and maintain operating system native scripts:

·       JavaScript development

·       Linux: Shell (csh, bash, etc)

·       Windows Server: Power Shell

·       Cloud infrastructure management

·       Standup, provision, scale, autoscale

·       Orchestration tools mastery

·       Ability to process technical service requests
 

You should have tertiary qualifications in a computer science or a software engineering related degree.
You will be required to provide or undergo a National Police Check.
Graduate students will be considered for a junior position.
You must have the right to work in Australia.
